Topics of teaching include
- Introduction and clinical relevance of pathology in the musculature of the shoulder, hip, and iliopsoas
- Learn standard approaches to visualise the soft tissue and intra-articular structures commonly involved in lameness as primary or secondary issues
- Become confident identifying structures and recognising what’s normal
- Recognising ultrasound artefacts and how to avoid them
- Learning ultrasound approaches to dynamic assessment of tendons
- Using ultrasound to guide treatments, practice ultrasound guided injections of tendons and joints
- Practical based sessions with hands-on learning in small groups
